Brown and Ogle
On a whim, I drove to Brown County State Park on Monday evening, and on a further whim, hiked around Ogle Lake. The forest is a rich green at this time of the year, with hints of the coming fall. It was hot and humid. Flies and mosquitoes were abuzz around the lake.
I really like these long summer days and the extra daylight – the last picture was taken around 9pm. Soon the days will become shorter and shorter, and there shall be longing for days of warmth and sunshine.
I must go back there in fall to look at these things again, when this foliage turn colorful.
